Viking's Voyage to Vinland (2009)

Job description for Vikings' Voyage to Vinland: Director/Script Writer/Producer/Visual Effects/Editor/Sound Editor. For History class my subject was in Vikings and their discovery of Vinland. This was my final project for the class and had my group involved to help me create a video documentary for this film. After doing extensive research and interviewing, I was able to piece together this short 15 minute Documentary. Duration of time from scratch to finish was 1 month. Programs I used was Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Motion (Apple's Final Cut Studio product) and iMovie. The only help I recieved are the actors you see in the film and the voiceover. Also CPCC were kind enough to lend me their Arri Lights kit. The rest of the gears used was Canon 5D Markll.

Here is a sample of how I was able to create motion images. All images were taken from google search. Inspiration - Ken Burns

Many of the scenes here are pulled out of multiple films. Some which were then manipulated at an extent and others used only to piece together the documentary for my film project.

Using Adobe Premiere with Mac. Drafting and Editing into one story.

One of my former classmates, agreed to be interviewed after learning he knew a great deal about Vikings. He himself was from Norway.
